  For greater flexibility in your lookup formulas, it is recommended to reference a column using its internal name. This will help ensure your formula continues to work when you have a multilingual site where the name of the column will change dynamically based on the current user's language and will help if your column is renamed after publishing the form.

  Note: The column's internal name is optional, and you can continue to use a column's name as was supported before this update.

  Important: With the String Format fix (00358666), there has been a change in behavior for Single Line text (Integer). The issue where the String Format 'N' used to display .00 at the end of a value has been fixed. If you want to keep the previous behavior, you can use String Format 'N2.'

• Allow the designer to enable ‘Set value’ rules to run when the form opens or only when the user interacts with the form.

• Microsoft are rolling out an update to the list creation process in SharePoint's Modern experience, replacing the existing list creation process with an embedded Microsoft Lists experience. This update includes greater support for list created through this new experience.

• Fixed an issue in Nintex Mobile where the People picker may contain internal data (JSON) as its default value when the form was loaded on Nintex Mobile.

• Note: This issue only occurred if your form had multiple layouts, and the People picker control was not linked (00261427; 00266016).

• Fixed an issue where the Choice control would display as a drop-down when connected to a column configured to allow multiple selection. In this configuration the Choice control should have displayed as check boxes (00313935).

• Note: This issue only occurred if you had created the choice column in SharePoint's modern UI.

• Fixed an encoding issue with the Redirect URL for Save buttons (00332087).

• Fixed an issue where Classic and Responsive tasks would always appear in Nintex Mobile regardless of their Nintex Mobile setting (00337131; 00339406).

• Note: This update will apply to all new tasks. For any existing task that have already been downloaded to Nintex Mobile, we recommend clearing your local storage on Nintex Mobile.

• Fixed an issue where the Single line textbox control contained in a Repeating section would not correctly load the default value when adding rows in edit mode (00345601).

• Updated the behavior of the Single Line Textbox control for the Currency data type. To support a wider range of regions and currency formats the Single Line Textbox control when not connected to a column will behave the same as connected. It will now show all decimal places entered by the user and will no longer show the currency symbol, aligning the functionality between connected and not connected. To display the currency symbol and fixed decimal places you can now use the String format option and specify the following options.

  • C, this will show the currency symbol

  • C2, will show the currency symbol and specify only two decimal places.

• Updated the Calculated control when configured with the Currency data type and not connected to a column, it will no longer display the currency symbol. This change aligns the functionality between both connected and not connected.

• Added support for the String format option on the Single Line Textbox control for the Currency data type when not connected.

• Aligned formatting between the Single Line Textbox and Calculated controls for the currency data type.

• Improved the flexibility when using different number and currency group separators on the Single Line Textbox control for the Decimal and Currency data types.

• Fixed an issue where the List Lookup control could lose the selected value when opening a form in edit mode 00257329; 00331434).

• Fixed an issue where asynchronous filters applied to the List Lookup controls may not execute in the correct orders which could result is the List Lookup not showing any options (00339379).

• Fixed an issue where the Single Line Textbox control when configured to use the Currency data type may not be able to correctly validate values. Support for space (ASCII 32) and non-breaking space (ASCII 160) have been added to support locales that use spaces for group separators (00255179; 00327304).

• Fixed an issue where the Calculated control may not calculate correctly with locales that use a space or decimal as the group separator (00294132).
