Rackspace change password
- This is an external action and may execute on servers running outside your data center region. Before implementing, consider performance and regional concerns where digital boundaries are an issue. For more information, see In-tenant and external actions.
- Action is available only with the Nintex for Office 365 Enterprise Edition.
Changes the password for a Rackspace next generation cloud server. First generation cloud servers are not supported.
Action settings
Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:
- Double-click the action.
- Click
on the action and then click Configure.

| Server ID |
Specify the ID of the server whose password is to change. |
| Region |
Specify the region where the server is located. |
| New password |
Specify the new password. Some operating systems may have complexity requirements for the password. If the supplied password does not meet these requirements then the server will enter an error state. |
| Username |
Specify the username for the Rackspace account. |
| API Key |
Specify the API Key associated with the username. |
| Password change successful |
Specify a Boolean variable to store whether or not the password change was successful. Yes is returned if the password was changed successfully. |
