Office 365 user access management

Note: 

Blocks or deletes a user from an Office 365 domain.

Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
Username and domain

Username and domain of the user to update.

Update access

Option to either block the user from signing in or delete the user. Select one of the following items.

  • Block: User retains any assigned licenses.
  • Delete: User relinquishes licenses.
Connection
  • Permissions required: to block or delete users.
  • Connection type required: SharePoint Online: User management. For more information about Connection types, see Connection types and Connector actions.
Administrator username / Password

(Displayed for legacy actions not yet updated.) Unmanaged credentials.

  • Permissions required: to block or delete users.

Note: As a best practice, manage credentials by updating actions to use connections.

Access update successful

Boolean variable to store operation result. Returns "Yes" if the user was blocked or deleted.
