Office 365 send document set to repository

Sends an existing document set in a SharePoint Online site to a repository (same site).

Note: This is an external action and may execute on servers running outside your data center Centralized locations used to house servers used by Nintex for remote storage, processing, or distribution of data. Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
Destination site URL

URL of the destination site.

Note: The specified URL is used to determine the drop-off directory that the site uses to send document sets to repository.

List name

Name of the document library containing the document sets to be sent.

Items to send to repository

Property restrictions to identify document sets to be sent to repository.

Select one of the following items.

  • Return all items: Send all document sets in the document library.
  • Return items only when the following is true:
    • Search the item when property / When property:: Specify a property, select an operator, and specify a value.
    • Add property restriction: Add a filter.
    • Delete (): Delete a filter. Displayed for second and subsequent filters.
    • And / Or: Specify how to group sequential filters.
Action

Option to copy or move when sending. Select the desired option.

  • Copy: Create a copy of the document set and then send this copy to the destination repository. Retain the original document set in its source location.
  • Move: Create a copy of the document set, send this copy to the destination repository, and then delete the original document set from its source location. Users will no longer be able to access the document set from its original location.
SharePoint Online URL

URL of the SharePoint Online website domain. Example: http://targetdomain.sharepoint.com.

Connection
  • Permissions required: Send document sets to repository in the specified site.
  • Connection type required: SharePoint Online: List & library. For more information about Connection types, see Connection types and Connector actions.
Username / Password

(Displayed for legacy actions not yet updated.) Unmanaged credentials.

  • Permissions required: Send document sets to repository in the specified site.

Note: As a best practice, manage credentials by updating actions to use connections.

Send to repository status

Collection or dictionary variable to store the sending status of the document sets that have been sent to repository.

Document set URL

Collection or dictionary variable to store the URL of the target destination for document sets that have been sent to repository.
