Nintex Insights - Beacon

Use the Nintex Insights - Beacon action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. to log beacons You use beacons to capture specific data in your workflow and pass to Nintex Insights for analytic purposes. from anywhere in your workflow and send to Nintex Insights for analytic purposes.

Before you begin: 

In the context of Nintex Insights, you use beacons to capture specific data in your workflow and pass to Nintex Insights for analytic purposes.

A process stage is a particular portion in a workflow containing actions with a specific purpose to send data to Nintex Insights. The process stage is always identified by start (Nintex Insights - Beginning beacon action) and end (Nintex Insights - Ending beacon) points.

Configure the Nintex Insights - Beacon action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

  2. Specify a Name for the beacon.
  3. Specify the Value.
  4. Click Add beacon if you want to add more beacons.
