Nintex Workflow for Microsoft Power Automate

You can now call Nintex Workflow workflows directly from Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio using the Nintex Workflow - Start a Workflow connector, available in the Microsoft connector gallery. For more information about the connector, see this Microsoft article.

To use this connector:

• You must have a valid Nintex Workflow tenant

• A published workflow configured with a component workflow start event. See, Nintex - Component workflow.

An example is how you can automate the employee onboarding. Employee onboarding is traditionally a manual, document-heavy process involving HR staff, email exchanges, and manual data entry. With Nintex Workflow and Microsoft Copilot Studio, you can automate the entire journey, from data collection to document generation, storage, and digital signature.

• Collect data: A Copilot agent collects required onboarding information.

• Trigger workflow: Using Copilot Studio, trigger a workflow in Nintex Workflow via the connector.

• Generate documents: The workflow uses collected data to populate onboarding templates.

• Send for signatures: Documents are automatically routed to the new employee for digital signing.

• Store completed files: Signed documents are saved to a secure location like OneDrive.
