Generic Services and Assemblies
Other than the technology-specific integration offered by the product, it can also integrate with other technologies through assemblies or web services by using the generic service brokers provided by Nintex Automation. You can register a Service Instance of one of these brokers to connect to an assembly or service URL/endpoint, and then create SmartObjects that expose entities within the targeted system. SmartForms, workflows, reports and other SmartObject consumers can then consume these SmartObjects.
There are no specific installation steps required to prepare for or install these Service Brokers, they are included and available by default in the product environment. Please refer to the links below to learn more about each of the generic service brokers available in the product:
