Add a content database

Applies to Nintex Workflow only

You must set up one or more content databases before activating the Nintex Workflow feature for the site collection.

To add a Nintex Workflow content database 

  1. Access the Database management page: On the Central Administration Home page, click Nintex Administration and then click Database management under Licensing and setup.
  2. On the Database Management page, under Content databases, click Add content database.

    The Add content database page appears. See Add content database page.

  3. On the Add content database page, enter the database server, name, and other settings.
  4. If the database already exists, select the check box for Connect to an existing database.
  5. Click OK.

    The database details appear in the Content databases section of the Database Management page.
