What's New in K2 Cloud Update 5 Fix Pack 2

The following bugs have been fixed in this update:

  • Change in behavior: When you use any of the following steps in the Workflow Designer and set a property at runtime with an empty value, the empty value did not persist and would display the last value.
    • Basic category > Create Reference step
    • Basic category > SmartObject Method step
    • CRM category > All the steps from this category
    • DocuSign category > All the steps from this category
    • SharePoint category > All the steps from this category
    • SmartObjects category > SmartObject step
    This has been changed in K2 Cloud Update 5 Fix Pack 2 which allows the correct application of an empty value at runtime. If you do not want the empty value to persist at runtime, edit the step, remove the property and redeploy the workflow.

    The change is applied to running workflows, and any new workflows you create or start. If you want your running workflows to complete with the previous behavior, apply the Fix Pack after all your running workflows are complete.

  • When you try to view reports as a user from the Everyone group that has view rights, the reports did not return any results.
  • When you manually start a workflow that has rights assigned to the Everyone group, users could not start the workflow and would receive an error message.
  • When you use SharePoint Online, workflows did not start due to slow performance.
