Servers

The Servers node lists the discovered servers in the network, as well as allowing you to retrieve the external IP address of each server.

You can use the Lookup* option to retrieve the external/public IP addresses of a server. The IP address is often used to configure a firewall when connecting the product to services on a separate network, for example when you want to connect to a Microsoft SQL server with the SQL Server service type, or if you need to set up inbound/outbound traffic rules to allow users or systems in a secured network to connect to the server. In a K2 Cloud environment, you might for example use the IP addresses of your tenant for allowlisting in Azure SQL and in Access Control Lists (ACLs).

The IP address for a K2 Cloud environment does not change while the environment is running, and does not change if the environment is shut down or restarted. However, the IP address might change if K2 Cloud Operations has to move your tenant subscription to different hardware, or if there is an interruption in service due to suspension of your K2 Cloud subscription

You can change the default provider used for the Lookup* option, to do so contact Nintex Customer Central for assistance. K2 Cloud
