K2 Process Portals - Management Worklist

The Management Worklist node presents options to Delegate, Redirect, or Release the worklist items for each active process instance associated with the K2 Process Portal.

Delegate a Worklist Item

The Delegate option allows a manager to assign action rights of the selected process instance to another user. This feature allows a work item to be allocated to a different user for processing. The delegator can determine which actions the delegate can perform. The work item will appear in both the delegator and delegate's My Worklist. This should be used when delegating a worklist item to a user that does not usually have view rights to the process

Redirect a Worklist Item

The Redirect option allows a manager to direct the selected worklist item to another workflow participant. The worklist item will be removed from the original destination user's My Worklist.

Release a Worklist Item

The Release option allows a manager to release an Open worklist item from the current user's worklist so that it becomes Available to other destination users setup by the Destination Rule. Only Work Items with Open status can be released.
