The following components exist in the K2 Out of Office architecture and are defined below:
The K2 Out of Office Client is an out of office enabled configuration API enabling developers to configure related out of office data pertaining to the user holding the connection.

K2 Out of Office Worklist
The K2 Worklist is an out of office enabled representation of the K2 related work belonging to and being shared to the user holding the connection.

K2 Out of Office Workspace is a K2 Server Management web interface whereby multiple out of office settings can be maintained by users/administrators which holds K2 Administrator rights on a K2 Server.

Component | What it does |

K2 Database | The K2 Database holds certain K2 User's Out of Office related settings which enables the K2 Server to perform K2 Worklist sharing functions based on the saved data. The data is stored which allows the K2 Out of Office feature to re-use the related data for future use. |
K2 Out of Office Client | The K2 Client is an Out of Office enabled configuration API enabling developers to configure related out of office data pertaining to the user holding the connection. |
K2 Server | The K2 Server is an integral part in the Out of Office feature due to the fact that it constantly maintains the Out of Office related instance data which enables the K2 WorkList to support WorkList sharing based on supplied date ranges allowing end users to pre-configure Out of Office settings. |
K2 Out of Office Worklist | The K2 Worklist is an Out of Office enabled representation of the K2 related work belonging to and being shared to the user holding the connection. |
K2 Out of Office Workspace | The K2 Workspace is a K2 Server Management web interface whereby multiple Out of Office settings can be maintained by users/administrators which holds K2 Administrator rights on a K2 Server. |
