Generate your first document
You can use Nintex DocGen for Salesforce to quickly generate documents such as contracts, invoices, or customer letters. Document generation saves time and ensures consistency by automatically pulling data from your workflows or connected systems into pre-defined templates.
You can use one of two ways to generate a document:
-
From a Salesforce record, such as an Opportunity or Quote, using the Nintex DocGen Lightning Component.
-
Generate a document with a document package.
Before you begin:
-
Ensure that the DocGen Lightning component is added to your page layout. For steps to add the components, see Add the DocGen Lightning component to page layouts.
-
Ensure you have at least one working DocGen Package or create a new one. For more information, see Nintex DocGen Package.
Generate a document from a Salesforce record
