Dynamics CRM update record

Updates a record of a standard or custom entity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

What can I do with this workflow action? 

You can use this action as part of a workflow to automatically create contacts in Microsoft Dynamics CRM whenever contacts are added to a sample list in Office 365.

Field Description
Update

Specify the logical name of the entity. For example, to update a Case record, specify the logical name incident.

where Record ID equals

Specify the unique record identifier of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM record.

Fields

Specify the field and its corresponding value for the update.

To remove a value from an optional field in the record, specify the field and leave the value empty.

Server URL

Specify the URL of the CRM server to connect to.

  • For Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online: http://CRMOnlineURL

Note: To determine the URL, log into Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Username

Specify a username with permission for this operation.

Password

Specify the password for the above username.
