Roles
Currently, there are two roles available in Nintex RPA Central:
- Administrator: Able to use all functionality in both Nintex RPA Central and Nintex RPA.
- Designer: Limited use of functionality in Nintex RPA Central but able to use all functionality in Nintex RPA.
Roles and installation
When the user of the computer account initially installs Nintex RPA Central, that user has an Administrator role created and registered for them.
A user assigned as the Designer role can:
- Install Nintex RPA.
- Publish botflows after using a web browser to navigate to Nintex RPA Central.
The Designer will be presented with a Request Access page. An Administrator then Enables the Designer in Nintex RPA Central.
Roles and privileges
Published botflows are run in Nintex RPA Central as part of a job.
- Administrators can schedule and initiate published botflow job runs from Nintex RPA Central.
- Designers can run botflows from Nintex RPA.
This table lists the privileges available to each Nintex RPA Central and Nintex RPA assigned role.
