Track training or competency units

A high level view of what state training is in at your organisation can be determined from the training and competency unit views.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Go to Training > Training Units.
    • Go to Training > Competencies.

The following details can be viewed from these pages:

  • A colour matrix with the number of people trained, untrained, overdue, expired, or who have achieved a particular competency level.
  • Filters to display only those units you own, supervise or are required to do.
  1. Click the training unit title or competency unit title to display the detailed view. The following tabs are displayed:
Tab Description
Overview

Displays the training unit overview details for the required fields and any additional details specified.

Trainees

Only Training Owners, Training Administrators, and Promasters can view the Trainees tab details.

Displays the list of trainees required to complete the training/competency unit, along with details of completed training, scheduled training date, role. You can filter to show trainees associated with one of the required roles, trainees with a particular status, or people from a specific team or location. The following columns and filters are displayed:

Track onboarding plans

The progress of an onboarding plan can easily be tracked from the Training > Onboarding page or from the individual onboarding plan. As the trainee completes items on their plan the progress updates to show how far through the plan they are.

  1. Go to Training > Onboarding.
  1. Click the inductee name to display the detailed view.

Training Module reports

The Training Module reports give you a detailed look at the training records in your Nintex Process Manager site. The reports provide active links to the relevant training unit, competency unit, or process.

  • Go to Admin > Reports > Monitor Training Records. The following reports are available as described in the table below.
Report Name Description
Process Change Acknowledgements Displays by process who has or has not acknowledged the most recent change to the process in a particular time period.
Scheduled Training

Displays the forthcoming training events for a selected role.

The report lists by month who is supervising training for a particular training or competency unit, date of the training, and how many people are expected to complete or attend the training.

Training Records Displays what training a person in a given role has completed or is scheduled to complete.
Training Unit Status

Displays the number of people with the following statuses for a training or competency unit:

  • Trained
  • Untrained
  • Scheduled
  • Overdue
  • Expired
