Print or Export a process
Nintex Process Manager allows you to print or export your processes in several formats, and to share processes through exclusive secure links.
Print a process
To print a process, select the printer icon in the top right of the screen. Nintex Process Managerprovides you with options about what exactly you want to print and how you want it formatted. Depending on your browser, it will either print directly or create a PDF of the process to print.
You can also print process groups the same way, including any sub-processes and their content, using the printer same icon on the process group overview page.
- Navigate to a process:
- Use the Search box at the top-right of the main navigation bar.
- On the Home Page:
- Use the Search box.
- Click Recently viewed or My favourites.
- Click Processes > All Processes.
- Click Processes > Recently viewed.
Complete one of the following actions:
- Click on the top-right of the process toolbar.
- In the Print Options dialog box, select the required options and then click Print.
- Flowchart: Print the map view of your process.
- Procedure: Print the text of the process, including all the activities and tasks and note headings. You can further customise what gets included with:
- Images: Print any attached images
- Business Analysis: This includes the details of triggers, inputs and outputs, dependencies and RACI stakeholders.
- Full Notes: This option expands any notes in the process, showing the full content.
- Orientation, Paper size and Columns: These are your formatting choices, allowing you to customise the way the process appears on the page.
The process PDF is printed.
Export a process
You can export processes in a number of formats, some of which can be re-imported to Nintex Process Manager, which makes sharing or reproducing a process easier.
You can move a process from one process group to another by exporting the process definition from the source process group and then creating a process in the destination process group and importing that process definition.
For more information on importing a process see Import a process.
