Process groups

Process groups are a collection of processes that share a common theme/objective. Process groups enable you to organize and manage your processes, arranging them in helpful categories and control who has access to them. You can arrange how processes are displayed in the process group overview and highlight the process workflow.

When you add documents to processes they are assigned to process groups. Process groups use permissions to restrict the access and visibility for the processes they contain. Stakeholders are set at the process group level, and are the users who have responsibilities in the processes. The responsibilities include document ownership, as well as editing, approving and publishing processes.

Process Group Champions A user responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all processes within their area. are set at the group level, and they’re responsible for process improvement in a specific area of the organisation. Process Group Champions work in the area of governance with Lead Process Group Champions of the organisation to deliver on the expectations set by the Exec Sponsor A senior leader responsible for promoting a process improvement culture in the organisation, communicating process vision on behalf of senior management and empowering Process Champions to deliver that vision.. Process Group Champions also work with the process owners A user responsible for ensuring the process is operating effectively, and continuously improving. Not necessarily a subject matter expert, but empowered with organisational authority to approve changes as needed. and experts A user who performs day-to-day process management on behalf of the Process Owner. This role requires detailed understanding of the process. who are responsible for capturing, improving and deploying effective processes.
