Improvements Module navigation
To access the Improvements Module, on the main navigation bar of your Nintex Process Manager site, hover on the Improvements tab and explore the different options as described in the sections below.
Improvements Module Navigation

- Go to Improvements > Summary to see a summary of the status of all incidents by Improvement Portfolio.
Section/Field Description/Steps Summary Displays the incident summary listed by:
Open Incidents - Incidents still in progress for the Improvements workflow and yet to be closed.
- High Priority Incidents - Incidents assigned as high priority.
Overdue Incidents - Incidents which are still open past their due date.
All Incidents To the right of the Summary section, is a bar graph that displays the status for all incidents – New, Under Investigation and Under Action for the total number of High Priority, Overdue and Open incidents.

to compare the high priority, overdue, and open incident counts.
- Click
to display the number of incidents opened by month within the last 12 months for each Improvement Portfolio.
All Portfolios Summary of incidents by portfolio. You can only see the portfolios where you are a Improvement Portfolio Manager, Incident Editor, or Incident Viewer. You can:
- Click a portfolio name to see the Improvements Register page filtered by the portfolio.
View incident details for New, Under Investigation, Under Action, Overdue or Closed in last 30 days columns, click on the number next to a particular Improvement Portfolio. The Improvements Register page is displayed with details for the selected option.

Go to Improvements > Register to view the list of all incidents you can access.

- Go to Improvements > Register.
- Click on the incident title you want to view or edit details for. The following tabs are displayed.
Tab/Field/Icon Description/Steps Overview Displays incident reporting and assignment details. Investigation Displays incident investigation details: causes, potential short term and long term treatments, and other relevant information. Recommended Actions Displays recommended actions suggested based on the investigation. Close Displays details added when you close the incident. Change Log Displays the incident change log for relevant stakeholders to track all updates.

Exports incident details in PDF format.
- Click
on the top-right.
> Delete Incident
Only Promasters A Nintex Process Manager system administrator who administers a Nintex Promapp site and has rights to view and edit all areas of a Nintex Promapp site. and Improvement Portfolio Managers A user responsible for assigning incidents for investigation, approving action plans and closing incidents for a portfolio. can delete incidents.
- Click
> Delete Incident on the top-right.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Caution: Incidents will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored. There is no audit history recorded.

Comments are generally used to provide additional information about the incident. For example, notifying the incident stakeholders of additional details that need to be updated, or exchanging information about the incident between the stakeholders. Anyone who can view the incident can add comments.
- Go to Improvements > Register.
- Click on the incident title you want to add comments to.
- Type your comments in the Comments field.
- Click Post.

- Go to Improvements > Register.
- Click on the incident title you want to view the history of changes for.
- Click Change Log on the right of the displayed tabs.
