Admin FAQs

Deleted processes from the past can be restored, but it is a very time consuming and complex process if they have been deleted for more than 15 days.
It involves restoring a previous instance of your Nintex Process Manager database in our local server in order to extract a copy of the process.
This task involves approximately 1 day of chargeable time for our technical team. If the deleted processes are highly critical and you want to restore them, contact us at support@nintex.com.

Ensure Nintex Process Manager is added to your trusted sites list.
- On your computer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites. Add https://<au/us/ca/eu>.promapp.com to enable the linked documents to be opened.

You can reset the password by clicking the Forgot username or password? link on the login page and entering your email id. If your account is locked, contact your Promaster ( On the top-right of your Nintex Process Manager site, click Help > Contact Promaster).

If uploaded videos are being blocked, unblock https://promapp.blob.core.windows.net/.

Yes. Nintex Process Manager can be accessed in the Citrix environment provided internet access is enabled in the remote Citrix session. You can test this by checking a site which is regularly updated, for example, New Zealand Herald.

- Minimode URLs of processes or process groups can be embedded into SharePoint / Intranet pages. Under Publish Only mode, these links display the latest version of the process, including the option to view unpublished revisions.
Under Process and Document Approval, while these are permalinks, they connect to an instance of the process. In this mode, unpublished changes saved to a process will be reflected by an existing minimode link, but once a process is r-published, the link must be updated to direct to the new version. -
RSS feeds of document list groups and process groups can be embedded in SharePoint / Intranet.
-
Nintex Process Manager can be embedded into SharePoint by adding Nintex Process Manager pages into SharePoint web parts. Some pages are specifically designed to be embedded into SharePoint (Dashboard status, Nintex Process Manager login page, Dashboard governance page) as well as process map pages which can be embedded to display the process on a SharePoint page.
-
You can also choose to link from Nintex Process Manager to documents in SharePoint / Intranet (rather than physically uploading them to Nintex Process Manager).
For more information, see SharePoint and Intranet integration.
