Hotfixes

Prerequisites

Hotfixes contain fixes for issues reported in Process Discovery. Each Hotfix is cumulative and contains the updates and fixes that were included with the previous Hotfix release. If you already have the first Hotfix installed, choose the latest Hotfix to install, even if there are others in between. If you have no other Hotfixes installed, choose the latest available Hotfix.

Remember to download all of the listed files from the Hotfix version.

Check for the most updated list of available Hotfixes on public.kryon.io.

To install the Hotfixes in your environment:

Algo Configuration:

  1. Stop Kryon services.

  2. Back up the AlgoNextGen folder under C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices\.

  3. Extract the pd-release.zip into C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices and rename it to AlgoNextGen.

  4. Replace queues-pd.json under C:\Kryon\config\prod\general\.

  5. Replace algoai-process-mining.json under C:\Kryon\config\prod\general\.

  6. Go to C:\Kryon\config\prod\services\kryon-algoai-pd-formatter-svc-default.json and add the parameter "max_consumers": 5 to the file.

  7. Replace kryon-algoai-visual-clustering-svc-default.json with C:\Kryon\config\prod\services\.

  8. Restart Kryon services.

NodeJS:

  1. Stop Kryon services.

  2. Back up the following folders under C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices\.

    1. kryon-boarding-svc

    2. kryon-pd-recordings-svc

    3. kryon-pd-robot-admin-svc

    4. node_modules

    5. kryon-doc-manager-svc

  3. Extract the 5 zip folders and replace them with the backed up files from the previous step.

  4. Back up kryon-pd-robot-admin-svc-default.json under C:\Kryon\config\prod\services\ and replace it with the file from the Hotfix folder.

  5. Restart Kryon services.

Web:

  1. Back up the ConsoleX folder under C:\Kryon\Console\Web and from this folder, copy the appConfig.json file under C:\Kryon\Console\Web\ConsoleX\assets\data.

  2. Extract the console-x.zip folder and rename it to ConsoleX.

  3. Replace the original appConfig.json file from step 1 and replace it in the new ConsoleX folder under C:\Kryon\Console\Web\ConsoleX\assets\data.

  4. Restart Kryon services.

To install the Hotfixes in your environment:

Algo Configuration:

  1. Stop Kryon services.

  2. Back up the AlgoNextGen folder under C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices\.

  3. Extract the pd-release_221031.zip into C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices and rename it to AlgoNextGen.

  4. Replace queues-pd.json under C:\Kryon\config\prod\general\.

  5. Restart Kryon services.

NodeJS:

  1. Stop Kryon services.

  2. Back up the following folders under C:\Kryon\PDServer\MicroServices\.

    1. kryon-boarding-svc

    2. kryon-pd-recordings-svc

    3. kryon-pd-robot-admin-svc

    4. node_modules

  3. Extract the 4 zip folders and replace them with the backed up files from the previous step.

  4. Back up kryon-pd-robot-admin-svc-default.json under C:\Kryon\config\prod\services\ and replace it with the file from the Hotfix folder.

  5. Restart Kryon services.

Web:

  1. Back up the ConsoleX folder under C:\Kryon\Console\Web and from this folder, copy appConfig.json file under C:\Kryon\Console\Web\ConsoleX\assets\data.

  2. Extract the console-x.zip folder and rename it to ConsoleX.

  3. Replace the original appConfig.json file from step 1 and replace it in the new ConsoleX folder under C:\Kryon\Console\Web\ConsoleX\assets\data.

  4. Restart Kryon services.
