Stripe is a payments infrastructure service for the internet. It provides an easy and flexible way to let customers accept payments within your platform. You can use Stripe to accept payments, send payouts, and manage your business online through a full-featured dashboard.

Use Stripe actions A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. to create a customer or product, update a customer or product, and retrieve the details of a customer.

Create a Stripe connection

Create a connection from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

In the Connection window, complete the fields as follows:

Connection name A name for your new connection.
API Key An auto-generated key for a Stripe user. For information about API keys, see Authentication and API keys.

Create a Stripe data source

Use the Stripe data source to create a drop-down list of Stripe customers or products within a form. Each data source is configured for a specific API key. You can create as many data sources as you need. For more information on creating a data source and assigning permissions to it, see Data sources. After you create a Stripe data source, you can add a data lookup form control to your form and configure it to use your new data source.

For example, to allow users to select a specific customer in a form, add a drop-down list of customers to the form using a Data lookup control A form control that allows users to select from a drop-down list of values that have been fetched from a third-party service.. The Data lookup control uses a Get customers data source to list the customers associated with the API key in the Stripe connection.

You can create a data source to:

  • Get customers: List all the customers associated with the API key in the Stripe connection.
  • Get products: List all the products associated with the API key in the Stripe connection.

Stripe data source fields

When you create a Stripe data source, you can configure additional fields to specify which page of results the data source should retrieve.

To access the data source fields, in the Add data source section, select the Connector and the Operation.
