Moosend is an email marketing and automation platform that helps you send your email campaigns, manage your mailing lists and campaigns, and easily track your results.

In the context of Nintex Automation Cloud, Moosend is a connector A software component that allows seamless integration with third-party services, business applications, and content stores. Examples include Salesforce, Box, and Microsoft SharePoint. Connectors are used to create connections required for workflow actions and start events.. The Moosend connector is used to create connections for Moosend actions and data lookups. Use Moosend actions A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. to send an existing draft campaign to email recipients and retrieve a list of all the campaigns in your account.

Create a Moosend connection

Note: Your browser-stored credentials are accessed to create connections. Either clear credentials from browser memory or make sure the stored credentials are for the intended environment.

Create a connection from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

In the Add a new connection section, complete the fields as follows:

Connection name A name for your new connection
API key An auto-generated key for a Moosend user. For information about API keys, see API key.

Moosend account requirements

  • You must use your API key to create a connection. For more information, see API key.

Create a Moosend data lookup

Use the Moosend data lookup to create a drop-down list of Moosend campaigns in a form. For example, to allow users to select a specific campaign in a form, add a drop-down list of campaigns to the form using a Data lookup control A form control that allows users to select from a drop-down list of values that have been fetched from a third-party service.. The Data lookup form control uses a Moosend - Get all campaigns data lookup to list the campaigns associated with the user.

You can create a data lookup to:

  • Get all campaigns: list all the campaigns of the user.

Each data lookup is configured for a specific user. You can create as many data lookups as you need.

  Status
  • Restricts the records retrieved to lists that include a specific status. Will be one of the following:
    • 0: For Draft
    • 1: For Queued for sending
    • 3: For Sent
    • 4: For Not enough credits
    • 5: For Awaiting delivery
    • 6: For Sending
    • 10: For Deleted
    • 11: For Selecting winner
    • 12: For Archived
    • 13: For Subscription expired
    • 14: For Subscription limits exceeded
  Items per page The number of items you want to retrieve per page. You can specify a maximum of 100 items.
  Page number The number of the page from where to start retrieving the items.
