Create a Google Calendar connection

Note: Your browser-stored credentials are accessed to create connections. Either clear credentials from browser memory or make sure the stored credentials are for the intended environment.

Create a connection and sign in with Google Calendar from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

Google Calendar account requirements

  • Nintex Automation Cloud uses the Nintex Automation Cloud - Google Calendar Connector to create Google Calendar connections. This connection requires you to grant permissions to read and write all user and group data.
  • The account you use to create a connection for Google Calendar is the account that has access to the Google Calendar actions.

Create a data source

Use the Google Calendar data source to create a drop-down list of Google Calendar calendars and events in a form. Each data source is configured for a specific Google Calendar connection. You can create as many data sources as you need. For more information on creating a data source and assigning permissions to it, see Data sources.

For example, to allow a user to select a calendar from a list on a form, add a drop-down list of calendars to the form using a Data lookup control A form control that allows users to select from a drop-down list of values that have been fetched from a third-party service.. The Data lookup control uses a Google Calendar - Get calendars data source to populate a list of calendars.

  • Get calendars: List all calendars visible to the authorized user.
