Trello - Get a checklist

Use the Trello - Get a checklist action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to retrieve the details and items of a checklist on a card in Trello. Configure the Trello - Get a checklist action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  1. Select the Board the list belongs to.
  2. Select the List the card belongs to.
  3. Select the Card the checklist belongs to.
  4. Select the Checklist you want to retrieve details for.

Variable types
(unlabeled) Connection Credentials and other settings that enables workflows to communicate with external systems, services, or applications. It's required to pass data between the workflow and the indicated service, which could be a cloud service, business application, or content store. (unlabeled) Board The board containing a list with the card. When you specify the Trello connection, all the boards in the selected connection are available to select from in the Board drop-down list. If you want to select a board that is not in the list, you can insert a variable in the Board field. When using a variable, use the board ID. Text, Decimal, Integer, Boolean, DateTime, Collection
(unlabeled) List The list containing the card. When you specify the Board, all the lists in the selected board are available to select from in the List drop-down list. When you specify the Card, all the checklists in the selected card are available to select from in the Checklist drop-down list. Output Checklist Stores the result of the action as an object. The following values are returned:
  • Name: (Text) The name of the checklist.
  • ID: (Text) The unique ID of the checklist. You can use the result of this variable as an input variable in a Trello - Trello - Create a checklist item action.
  • Card ID: (Text) The unique ID of the card the checklist belongs to.
  • Checklist items: (Collection) A collection of labels containing the following variables:
    • State: (Text) The state of the checklist item, for example complete or incomplete.
    • ID: (Text) The unique ID of the checklist item.
    • Name: (Text) The name of the checklist item.
    • Due date: (DateTime) The due date of the checklist item.
