Trello - Get a card

Use the Trello - Get a card action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to retrieve the details of a card in Trello. For more information about the Trello connector, go to Trello.

Configure the Trello - Get a card action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  1. Select the Board the list belongs to.
  2. Select the List the card belongs to.
  3. Select the Card you want to retrieve details for.

Variable types

(unlabeled) Connection Credentials and other settings that enables workflows to communicate with external systems, services, or applications. It's required to pass data between the workflow and the indicated service, which could be a cloud service, business application, or content store. The Trello connection to use to retrieve the details of a card.

When you specify the Trello connection, all the boards in the selected connection are available to select from in the Board drop-down list. Output Card Stores the result of the action as an object. The following values are returned:
  • Name: (Text) The name of the card.
  • ID: (Text) The unique ID of the card. You can use the result of this variable as an input variable in a Trello - Trello - Delete a card, Trello - Trello - Add a comment to a card, Trello - Trello - Add a label to a card, and Trello - Trello - Add a member to a card action.
  • List ID: (Text) The unique ID of the list the card belongs to.
  • Board ID: (Text) The unique ID of the board the list belongs to.
  • URL: (Text) The full URL link to the card starting with http:// or https://.
  • Member IDs: (Collection) A comma-separated list of member IDs that are on this card.
  • Checklist IDs: (Collection) A collection of checklist IDs that are on this card.
  • Labels: (Collection) A collection of labels containing the following variables:
    • ID: (Text) The unique ID of the label.
    • Board ID: (Text) The unique ID of the board.
    • Name: (Text) The name of the label.
    • Color: (Text) The color of the label.
