Use the Mailboxlayer - Check email action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to validate an email address.

Configure the Mailboxlayer - Check email action

Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.
- Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
- Specify the Email address that you want to validate.
- Create or select a variable for the output.

Perform SMTP check | Set this to Yes to contact the email address using SMTP. This checks if the email address actually exists. The Mailboxlayer SMTP Check feature takes up around 75% of the API's entire response time.
