Mailboxlayer - Check email

Use the Mailboxlayer - Check email action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to validate an email address.

Configure the Mailboxlayer - Check email action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  1. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Specify the Email address that you want to validate.
  2. Create or select a variable for the output.

This is the email address you want to validate.

  Perform SMTP check Set this to Yes to contact the email address using SMTP. This checks if the email address actually exists. The Mailboxlayer SMTP Check feature takes up around 75% of the API's entire response time. If you would like to skip SMTP and speed up the API response, you may turn it off by setting this to No. Boolean
Output Validate email address
