Use the K2 Workflow and Task - Start a workflow action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to start a new instance of a K2 workflow.

Configure the K2 Workflow and Task - Start a workflow action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

Workflow instance details

The details for the workflow instance you want to start.

Click Add field, then select a filter option and click Add. Type the value you want to use for the workflow instance.

  • Select all: Selects all the filter options.

  • Clear all: Clears all the selections.

  • Cancel: Closes the Filter options menu.

You can delete a field by clicking the ellipsis and selecting Delete.
