K2 Workflow and Task - Allocate a task
Use the K2 Workflow and Task - Allocate a task action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to assign a task response to a task when the user opens the task. This action changes the status of a task from available to open. For more information about task responses, see Task Result Rule tab and Using Task Recipients and Responses. If you want to change the status back to available, you can release the task using the K2 Workflow and Task - Release a task action.

Configure the K2 Workflow and Task - Allocate a task action

Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.
- Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

Type the Serial number of the task.
