Configure the Google Drive - Store a file action
Important: Before inserting variables in the action configuration, you must manually type or select the values and populate other dependent fields in order to retrieve the output data. Once configured, you can insert variables to the required fields.
- Open the action in the configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action. Drag the Google Drive - Store a file action to the designer canvas.
- Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection on the Connections page. See the Google Drive connector page for details on creating a Google Drive connection.
- Select a variable representing the source File you want to store. Use the Get a file action to retrieve a file and assign that file to a variable to use here.
- Select the Drive you want to store the file in.
- Select a destination type. The option presented is dependent on the destination type selected:
- The Folder path to where you want to store the file. You can also browse the file structure using the browse icon (
).
- The Folder ID of the folder where you want to store the file.

- Select whether to Overwrite file, if it will have the same name as an existing file.
- Select or create a variable for the Result output.
