GitLab Create an issue

Configure the GitLab - Create an issue action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Select the Project for which you want to create an issue.
  2. Specify the Title for the issue.

The project you want to create the issue for. This drop-down is populated when you select a connection.

Integer

  Title The title of your issue is used to identify the issue. Text, Decimal, Integer, Boolean, DateTime, Collection
  Description Describe the issue here. Text, Decimal, Integer, Boolean, DateTime, Collection
  Confidential Set an issue to be confidential. The default is no. Boolean
  Due date The due date. Text, Integer, DateTime
  Labels Comma-separated label names for an issue. Text, Decimal, Integer, Boolean, DateTime, Collection
  Weight The weight or importance of the issue. Valid values are greater than or equal to 0. Integer
Output Issue

Variable to store the issue details as an object for use later in the workflow.

  • Assignee: (Object) The user that this issue is assigned to.
    • Avatar URL: (Text) The location of the assignee's avatar.
    • ID: (Decimal) The system ID for the assignee.
    • Name: (Text) The assignee's name.
    • State: (Text) The state of the assignee, for example active.
    • Username: (Text) The assignee's username.
    • Web URL: (Text) The location of the assignee's system profile.
