Fastly - Create a backend for a service version

Use the Fastly - Create a backend for a service version action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to create a backend for a specific version of a service. There can be multiple backends attached to a service, but each backend is specific to one service.

Configure the Fastly - Create a backend for a service version action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  1. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Select the Service name.
  2. Select the Version number.
  3. Specify the Hostname, IPv4, or IPv6 address.
  4. Specify the Backend name.
  5. Specify the Port.
  6. Create or select a variable for the output.

  Version number This is an integer identifying a service version. Integer

  Port Port on which the backend server is listening for connections from Fastly. Setting port to 80 or 443 will also set use_ssl automatically (to false and true respectively). The default is 80. Integer
