Deta Base - Create or update schema item

Important: This connector and its actions have been removed from Nintex Workflow and can now be found in Nintex Gallery.

Use the Deta Base - Create or update schema item action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to create or update an item in a base with a described schema. Once you select the connection, the base name drop-down field is populated with the bases for that connection. When you select a base, the input fields are read from Deta Base and you can edit input values as needed.

Important: Use the Nintex Workflow Integration action, Query JSON, to extract and use JSON data from connector actions.

Configure the Deta Base - Create or update schema item action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Specify the Base name in which you want to create or update the item.
  2. Enter the schema input field details as required, in text or JSON format. The schema input field items populate after you choose a connection and a base name. They are defined and read from the base in Deta Base.
  3. Create or select a variable for the output.

Base name

This is the name of the base containing the item you want to create or update.

Text, Decimal, Integer, Boolean, DateTime, Collection
  Schema fields The item you are creating or updating is a text or JSON string, depending on the schema definition of your base. Depends on schema definition
Output Item

Variable to store the Item result as an object for use later in the workflow. The variable contains the item key, and data of each of the properties defined in the schema definition for the item in Deta Base.
