Box - Delete a file
The Box - Delete a file action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. deletes the specified file from Box.

Configure the Box - Delete a file action

Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.
- Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
- In Select a destination type, select how you want to specify the file to delete.
- Specify the File path, File ID:
- File path:The path of the file you want to delete. You can select a variable or type a path. You can also browse the folder structure using the browse icon ().
File ID: The ID of the file to delete.
Maintain path integrity
Caution: If a file/folder that's used in a workflow is moved, renamed, or deleted, any workflows that use that file/folder will not start or will fail. Make sure you keep the paths in your workflow configurations up to date.
