Document Stores

Document Stores let you upload, split, and prepare datasets in a single location. You can manage different file types and make the data available for use in agents. Document Stores display a list of folders containing documents you have access to. You can upload, organize, and manage documents used by your agents. These documents can be embedded, searched, or referenced during agent processing.

Access the Document Stores page

Go to Agents > Document Stores.
Create a new Document Store

Go to Agents > Document Stores.

Click Add.
The Add New Document Store dialog is displayed.

Enter the Name of the Document Store.

(Optional) Enter the purpose of the Document Store in the Description.

Click Add.
Delete a Document Store
To delete a document store, it must be empty.

Go to Agents > Document Stores.

Click the document store you want to delete.

In the document loader, select More actions.

Click Delete.
The following columns or selections are displayed when you view the Document Stores page.
| Column or selection | Description |

| Search | Searches for document store by name. |

Status Indicator |
Indicates the current status of the document store. The status appears as a visual indicator in the first column. Hover over the indicator to view the status.

| Name | The document store name specified when the document store was saved. |
| Description | The document store description specified when the document store was saved. |
| Total characters | The total number of characters across all document loaders in the document store. |
| Total chunks | The total number of chunks across all document loaders in the document store. |
| Loader types | The document sources included in the document store. For more information, see Document Loader. |
