Microsoft Azure create affinity group

Nintex external platform is required for this feature. For details, see Enable Nintex external platform features.

Creates an affinity group that is associated with a subscription in Microsoft Azure.

Note: Microsoft Azure actions are supported for use with Azure Classic Portal only (manage.windowsazure.com).

Action settings

Following are the fields and options visible in the configuration settings dialog box for this action.

Field Description
Certificate

Specify the certificate file (.pfx) to be used for authenticating the service request. This certificate must be associated with the Microsoft Azure subscription.

  • Existing SharePoint Content: Enter the URL of the certificate within the current site.
  • Content: This is currently not supported.
  • Current item: Upload the current certificate that the workflow is running on. This option is only available on document libraries.
Certificate password

Specify the password for the certificate.

Subscription ID

Specify the subscription ID associated with the certificate.

Name

Specify a name for the affinity group. The name must start with a letter or a number, and can contain only letters, numbers and dashes. Affinity group names must be unique within a Microsoft Azure subscription. Maximum 63 characters.

Description

Specify a description for the affinity group.

Region

Specify the region where the affinity group is to be located.
