Bing text to speech

Converts text to an audio in a desired language using Bing.

Action settings

Following are the fields and options visible in the configuration settings dialog box for this action.

Field Description
Text to speak

The text to speak.
Language of input text

The language of the input text.
Output

Store output for this action using the following selections.

  • Audio file URL: Stores the audio file URL.

    Note: The audio file expires after 5 minutes. We recommend using the file download service to download the audio file before it expires.

Depending on action requirements, you may be able to add and remove output variables.

To add an output variable

  1. Select an option from the Select more drop-down list.
  2. Click Add to display a drop-down list for the selected option.
  3. Select a previously defined workflow variable from the drop-down list.

To remove an output variable

  • Click Delete ().

    Note: Some output variables cannot be deleted. For example, the output variable URL for the action Bing news search cannot be deleted.
