Introduction

This document provides guidance on planning database mapping and maintenance for Nintex Workflow.

Every deployment of Nintex Workflow involves a configuration database by default. If no Nintex Workflow content databases are added, then the default configuration database also acts as a content database. In most cases, however, one or more Nintex Workflow content databases are also added and mapped to SharePoint content databases.
