Rackspace rebuild server

Nintex external platform is required for this feature. For details, see Enable Nintex external platform features.

Rebuilds a Rackspace next generation cloud server with a new image. First generation cloud servers are not supported.

Action settings

Following are the fields and options visible in the configuration settings dialog box for this action.

Section Field Description

 Server ID

Specify the ID of the server to be rebuilt.

 

 Region

Specify the region where the server is located.

 

 Image name

Specify the new image name.

 

 Administrator password

Specify an administrator password for the server. Some operating systems may have complexity requirements for the password. If the supplied password does not meet these requirements then the server will enter an error state.

Access credentials

Username

Specify the username for the Rackspace account.

 

 API Key

Specify the API Key associated with the username.

 Output

Store output for this action using the following selections.

  • Rebuild successful: Specify a Yes/No variable to store whether or not the rebuild server was successful. Returns "Yes" if the server was rebuilt successfully.

Depending on action requirements, you may be able to add and remove output variables.

To add an output variable

  1. Select an option from the Select more drop-down list.
  2. Click Add to display a drop-down list for the selected option.
  3. Select a previously defined workflow variable from the drop-down list.

To remove an output variable

  • Click Delete ().

    Note: Some output variables cannot be deleted. For example, the output variable URL for the action Bing news search cannot be deleted.
