Office 365 send document set to repository

Nintex external platform is required for this feature. For details, see Enable Nintex external platform features.

Sends an existing document set in a SharePoint Online site to a repository (same site).

Note: The Content Organizer site feature must be activated on the SharePoint site for this action to be available. For instructions, see Activate the Content Organizer site feature.

Action settings

Following are the fields and options visible in the configuration settings dialog box for this action.

Section Field Description

Destination site URL

Specify the URL of the destination site.

Note: The specified URL is used to determine the drop-off directory that the site uses to send document sets to repository.

 

List name

Specify the name of the document library containing the document sets to be sent.

 

Items to send to repository

Specify property restrictions to identify which document sets are to be sent to repository.

Select one of the following items.

  • Return all items: Send all document sets in the document library.
  • Return items only when the following is true: Send the item to repository based on the values set in the column.
    • Search the item when property / When property: Specify a property, select an operator, and specify a value.

    • Add property restriction: Add a filter.
    • Delete (): Delete a filter. Displayed for second and subsequent filters.
    • And / Or: Specify how to group sequential filters.

 

Action

Select the desired option.

  • Copy: Create a copy of the document set and then send this copy to the destination repository. Retain the original document set in its source location.
  • Move: Create a copy of the document set, send this copy to the destination repository, and then delete the original document set from its source location. Users will no longer be able to access the document set from its original location.

Credentials

SharePoint Online URL

Specify the SharePoint Online website domain URL. Example: http://targetdomain.sharepoint.com.

 

Username

A username with permissions to send the document set to repository in the destination site.

 

Password

The password for the above username.

Output

Store output for this action using the following selections.

  • Send to repository status: Specify a collection variable to store the sending status of the document sets that have been sent to repository.
  • Document set URL: Specify a collection variable to store the URL of the target destination for document sets that have been sent to repository.
