Enter inline functions

This topic describes how to insert inline functions when configuring workflow actions.

Inline functions are resolved at workflow run-time.

To insert inline functions

1. In a workflow action configuration field that supports inserting references, click (Insert Reference) to display the Insert Reference dialog box.
2. For each inline function that you want to use, do the following.

   1. In the Inline Functions tab, double-click the inline function you want.

      The inline function is added to the dynamic text for insertion.

   2. Under Dynamic text to insert, specify an argument for the inline function.

      You can use an inline function as an argument.

3. Click OK.

   The Insert Reference dialog box is closed and the dynamic text is inserted into the field.
