Using SmartObjects in Custom Reports

You can create custom reports that interact with SmartObjects.

• SQL Reporting - The SQL Reporting Services Service Type allows you to use Export methods for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports using SmartObject methods. You can use these to export SSRS reports as PDF, image, or Excel files, and then attach the file to an e-mail or upload it to a SharePoint library.
• OData - Exposes SmartObjects as OData data feeds, which you can use in other applications such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPivot. This allows you to use these tools to build rich reports that include workflow reporting data (and any other SmartObject data).
