Remove List Item Attachment

This content applies to legacy design tools (such as K2 Studio, K2 for Visual Studio, or the Silverlight-based K2 workflow design tool). If you have upgraded from K2 blackpearl 4.7 to K2 Five, these tools may still be available in your environment. These legacy tools may not be available in new installations of K2 Five. This event is found on the SharePoint 2013 - List Item Events node.

What does it do?

The Remove List Item Attachment event allows you to remove an attachment from a list item. If multiple attachments exist for the list item, all attachments are removed.

How is it used?

You may, for example, need to remove an attachment from a list item if, through a review task, it does not get approved.

Select the list item reference or browse to a list item.

Field Description Sample Value
List Item Use this option if a reference was created earlier in this workflow for the list item. Click the drop-down list to select the reference name.

Site Collection

If no reference is available, browse to the item on a registered SharePoint Site Collection. The Site Collection field is populated with the default Site Collection.

Choose a site collection from the available site collections that have the K2 for SharePoint app registered. If there is only one it is auto-selected.

Clicking Next after this option was used, an additional page will open to specify filters if required. See theSpecify Filters section.

If Browse to list item was selected on the Specify List Item page of the wizard, select the SharePoint list containing the list item.

Site Collection Navigation If the SharePoint site collection contains subsites, navigate to the list by clicking the subsite. Select the list and click Next to continue the wizard.
  • Use the Root button to navigate to the Main SharePoint Site Collection.
  • Use the Up button to navigate one step back in the breadcrumb.
  • Use the Refresh button to refresh the list of items displayed.

If Browse to list item was selected on the Specify List Item page of the wizard, set the filters to choose a list item.

Filter fields Filter for specified values in one or more fields to identify the list item. Select the check box in front of the field to enable the filter. Type a value, or drag a value from the Context Browser such as a pre-configured Data Field, Item Reference or a SmartObject Load method. Note that when a SmartObject Load method is used, an input property is required for the correct data to load.
