Servers

The Servers node lists the discovered K2 servers in the network, as well as external IP addresses connecting to the server (the IP address can be used to configure a firewall for security purposes). Use the Lookup* option to display external IP addresses to help you configure your firewall when connecting K2 to your internal services like Microsoft SQL server. You can change the default provider that uses the Lookup* option, by editing the ExternalIPLookupServiceURL field on the Environment Library node in K2 Management.

Discovery of K2 servers is performed using a discovery port (default port 49600, but this port number may differ depending on the configuration of your environment). If needed, you can disable the discovery port as described in the KB article KB001221: How to switch off the K2 server discovery feature.

Use the Refresh button to reload the list of servers.
