Installing K2 Five

Once you have read through the Plan for your installation section and planned out your K2 installation, then gone though the Prepare your environment section to prepare your environment, you are ready to start the K2 installation.

The following table lists the types of K2 installations available.

Installation Type	Description
Simple installation	This installation type installs K2 in its simplest form: all components on a single server, based on the prerequisites that are available on the machine
Server Component Installation	The server components installation is used to install server-level components in your environment, most commonly in distributed or Farmed environments.
Client Tools	This installation type only installs the client tool: Package and Deployment.
Core Components	Use this installation type if you wish to only install the K2 core components.
