You can only see and access these designers if your environment was upgraded from K2 blackpearl 4.7.

K2 Studio

K2 Studio is an installable design environment that is familiar and easy to use. Some of the features of K2 Studio include:

K2 Toolbox : Providing access to K2 components and wizards
Visual Process Designer : An design canvas for visually modeling workflows and business applications

K2 Studio is used to create data definitions (SmartObjects) and business logic applications (workflows) using K2 Wizards to automate processes that need data from business systems along with human decision points.

K2 for Visual Studio

K2 for Visual Studio integrates the K2 design process with Microsoft Visual Studio. Similar to K2 Studio, K2 for Visual Studio provides a visual development environment for creating SmartObjects and workflows. One primary difference between the two development environments is that you can write custom .NET code using K2 for Visual Studio for implementation into your K2 applications.

The design experience is driven by process and event wizards, lines, activities, and rules, created on the design canvas.
