Manage Connected App and OAuth settings

This topic describes how to enable Connected Apps, a Salesforce feature that offers administrators more control over what Nintex Drawloop DocGen® for Salesforce can do in their organization. You might enable this for testing or running the app from a Government Cloud organization. For more information, see Connected Apps and Government CRM: Government Management in the Cloud.

Manage Connected App and OAuth settings

You can enable or disable Connected Apps.

To enable or disable Connected Apps

  1. From the Force.com app menu, select Nintex DocGen, and then click DocGen Admin.

Tip: You can also select this from Lightning with the App Launcher.

  2. Under Configuration, click Settings.

  3. Under Connected Apps and OAuth, click the toggle to enable or disable Connected Apps.

After you enable Connected Apps, the first time users generate a document, they will be prompted to authorize Connected Apps. This happens once for each user.

Note: If the end user is using the DocGen Lightning Component, no matter what setting you use here, Nintex Drawloop DocGen® for Salesforce uses OAuth to authenticate end users generating documents.
