Webhooks
Nintex eSign DocumentTRAK notifications, also known as webhooks, are configured communications that are triggered by certain events in the document workflow. These events can then trigger actions to happen in the integrated system.
For example, lets say that a document has been sent out through your CRM program, and as the document progresses through the signing workflow, certain events are happening. These events can range from the email failing to reach the signer, or the signer completing and signing off on the document. Webhooks can monitor these specific events and even update fields inside of your CRM system based on the events that have been triggered.
There are two parts to configuring DocumentTRAK web notifications:
1. Initial configuration including the specification of the location and any parameters
2. Assignment to a specific workflow step on a template.
A special type of notification which may only be assigned to a completed document step is the Completed Document Transmission notification; this is, in effect, a push of a document to a location you configure triggered by the completion of all signing workflow steps. It should be understood that DocumentTRAK web notifications are the communication from Nintex eSign to your applications.
