Automatically complete tasks

You can configure a task to automatically complete with a selected outcome if the task assignee does not respond within a specified period of time.

Configure the task to auto complete

Open the configuration of the Assign a task or Start a task process action.
Select the Auto-complete the task option in Escalate and auto-complete options field.
