Yammer search messages

Searches for Yammer messages on a user's Yammer network. Private messages are not returned.

Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
Authorizing user

Specify an email address to receive the authorization request for the action. External email addresses can be used.

Note: If the Yammer account accessed is a member of multiple Yammer networks, then a network for this operation can be specified.

Search query

Specify the search term. Messages containing this term will be returned.

Messages posted since

Specify a UTC date and time here to return messages posted after that date and time. If no value is provided, the 20 most recent messages are returned.

 

Message date

Specify a collection or dictionary variable that will store the UTC date and time that the message was posted.

Message URL

Specify a collection or dictionary variable that will store the URL of the message.

Message

Specify a collection or dictionary variable that will store the returned message.

User name

Specify a collection or dictionary variable that will store the message author’s user name.

User email address

Specify a collection or dictionary variable that will store the message author’s email address.

Result count

Specify a numeric variable that will store the number of results.
